"I was considering putting Track What Matters GPS tracking system on our trucks. I finally did it and found my driver stopping every 45-60 minutes to take a nap when my delivery had to be there on time! That was a $1,600 lesson! Knowing the facts about the driver will keep that from happening again."

"We have a fleet of regional tractor trailers transporting shipments daily. When we first started using GPS tracking through Track What Matters, we found one of our trucks idling for over 4 hours every day while waiting to be unloaded. With diesel fuel costs at $4.85 per gallon, that was a cost of $19.40 per day. Over a year, the cost for that one truck alone would have been $5,044! Using the GPS tracking system, we have reduced that driver’s idle time to a few minutes each day. Track What Matters also customized their GPS tracking application to meet our needs. We asked Track What Matters to adjust their GPS tracking system to display the current status of all of our vehicles in a manner that would allow us to see if our trucks were sitting at loading or receiving docks for extended periods of time at a glance. This allows us to reduce labor costs and further improve our bottom line."

The first day after we installed GPS tracking at Candy Haven, I found this driver stopping at his house for 30 minutes - on my time! So, I now knew what I suspected was true. I figure, between fuel and labor savings, I was able to pay for my investment in about 2-3 months. I wish I had done this sooner.

"Dear Track What Matters,We suspected speeding was an issue with our son, with the “racing attitude” among his generation. With the Track What Matters device and our premium plan, we were alerted within one minute of the violation. He exceeded our preset speed limit. Not only were we alerted, we were able to pinpoint the exact location on a map. Our son was doing 65.25 mph in our own 30 mph neighborhood at 4:35 p.m. He not only put his life in danger by speeding but also an unknown list of other lives were in danger on this school day, when kids are innocently going home. We finally know what we did not want to know! The information provided by Track What Matters tracking device gave his father and me what we needed to know. With TWM’s information, we now have the facts and we can correct the situation before something terrible happens. For us, it is important that our son is protected from his own actions. Without the GPS tracking device, we wouldn’t have known our son was speeding in such a dangerous location. Track What Matters has given us the knowlege to modify his behaviour before we encounter words like Vehicular Manslaughter and Jail and Ruined Lives."

We were having discrepancies between what our employees reported and clients' claims. So we were having arguments over billing and over payroll. Installing Track What Matters GPS in AA's vehicles resolved the problem almost immediately. We didn't tell the drivers about the units for about two weeks, but the minute we did, it was amazing how quickly their pay sheets came into line. And, with customers, it became easy to difuse a dispute simply by noting the presence of GPS tracking and offering to send them a detailed trip report. The system helped resolve other matters as well .. including audit reports from IFTA as proof of mileage. In addition to all of our limos, we are now adding units to other vehicles.

Our company recently purchased a couple of international asset tracking devices from Track What Matters. We installed them on shipping containers destined for Australia. It turns out our logistics company, and ultimately us, were duped by the trucking company used for the first leg of this shipment. We initially thought the units had malfunctioned because the trucker was lying as to the whereabouts of our load. Using the asset tracking devices, we recovered hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment in a timely manner and avoided serious set-backs to our business. You never think this kind of thing will happen, but we are very glad we put the Track What Matters units on these containers. We’ll keep you posted as the voyage continues.

GPS tracking has been very beneficial in helping us verify our employee time sheets and to let employees know that we’re watching and that we require honesty from them. The extra safety resulting from these measures has even helped Trusty Construction keep its insurance coverage. The most dramatic vehicle recovery incident, however, involved an outright theft. We actually had a trailer stolen but fortunately we were able to track exactly where it was. We met the police at that location and recovered the trailer. In another instance, we had a call from an employee who had just wrecked. We asked him where he was and he said, ‘The highway.’ We had OnStar on that truck but they wouldn’t reply to our call, so we called Track What Matters and they were able to help us figure out where the vehicle was. Track What Matters really treats you like a human being -- it’s very nice. I would heartily recommend Track What Matters to other companies.

We handle both packaging and transport of plastic resin so we purchased chassis to transport our containers to and from the port of Houston and several other ports. They are expensive, and many of them are identical to the ones available for leasing. After some extensive research, we decided on GPS asset trackers from Track What Matters. We needed something with a long battery life (that is only read several times a day) and a reliable record of standing up to harsh weather conditions since the trackers are attached to the side of the chassis. The team at Track What Matters was helpful in getting everything programmed correctly, since we were using them in an atypical way. We had a couple of them get busted and Track What Matters replaced them right away. I was impressed with their speed. Some of the additional GPS asset trackers purchased were placed on locomotive shipments, notorious for being held up in transit. It’s nice to be able to look at the shipments and see how quickly (or slowly) the shipments are moving. Now we can communicate where the shipments are if they are being held up, and that was an unanticipated benefit.

Adding the Track What Matter’s GPS units has had a tremendous impact on our business. With the installation of the units, we’ve cut our overtime in half and that’s only the beginning. Last year, we didn’t have one single speeding ticket and that means an increase in the engine life of our trucks and a big decrease in maintenance related problems. Not traveling the highways at 85 miles really makes a difference. We've seen a real difference in attitudes of employees. Our employees know that we’re tracking and monitoring them. We actually review their reports with them weekly. Another great benefit is that our hourly rate has decreased because we get hours directly from the unit and it is extremely accurate. Customer service has been great because Kevin and Mike are always available anytime I need assistance. I've definately referred Track What Matters to our sister companies at Stallion.

We had narrowed the candidates for our GPS provider down to three before finally deciding on Track What Matters. The GPS units play a vital role in protecting the company’s investment in its vehicles. We drop a lot of our trailers at job sites so our main bottom-line concern there is not losing a trailer. That’s obviously a potential cost savings for us. The user-friendliness of the Track What Matters website is one of the most convenient features. The fact that the interface has MapQuest integrated with it helps us a lot. We like having the ability to pinpoint any vehicle with a quick glance at his computer monitor. I'd give Track What Matters a “thumbs-up” to any other companies seeking GPS services, especially for their prompt customer service.

When I came into the job, the company did not have an adequate system in place to be able to fully track positioning of the vehicles. After I told them that I couldn’t do my job without some sort of change, that’s when we installed GPS tracking solutions from Track What Matters. We must know where our buses are at all times. The child transportation industry has a mandatory speed limit of 65, and we can enforce this behavior through Track What Matters by monitoring vehicle speed limits and taking corrective actions of its drivers if the need arises. The installed tracking units also serve to settle disputes and complaints. If a parent calls and complains that the bus wasn’t there, and they state that ‘we waited for over 15 minutes’, we’re able to pull the history for that particular vehicle and get the real story. That usually puts an end to it. What has impressed me the most about Track What Matters is the customer service they provide. The people at TWM have given me their personal cell phone numbers because I’ve had to access the system at home on the weekend to address driver problems like a flat tire. If I can’t find it myself, TWM usually has what I need within 20 minutes. If I leave this job, I’m taking Track What Matters with me.

We needed to know the current positions and distribution of our vehicles, and so far the GPS tracking has really worked well for that purpose. Before we adopted GPS tracking for our ambulances, we had to depend on employees calling in to relay their positions. Now that the vehicles have GPS, I can always know where they are, whether the drivers have called in or not, by checking the information from the office or from my home. The TWM system allows for easy access via my smart phone which is a feature that I have found extremely handy. If I’m home in bed and there’s a call, I can tell whether my inbounds are clear by simply pulling up the Track What Matters website on my Droid. Our company focuses primarily on tracking the speed of the ambulances and which routes they take to reach people in need. It also helps to confirm arrivals, especially in hospital areas where radio reception can become dicey. Even if they completely forget to radio me that they’ve arrived, it doesn’t matter because I know they’re there. I did my homework before choosing Track What Matters over other GPS tracking providers. I did a lot of research and began calling companies. I really liked the people I talked to at Track What Matters, and the rest is history. I rarely need to call unless I need to order more GPS units. The people I do talk to are always really helpful.
