A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit one of our customers who runs a limousine company. For this customer, we put GPS tracking on their Limousines and are monitoring door operations.
Over a single weekend, the customer realized a $450 return on investment by capturing unreported fares. The drivers who took the extra fares without reporting them were typically known as “good drivers”. Unfortunately, when your vehicles are away from the office or shop, you really don’t know what is going on with them.
A little GPS tracking for your cars, trucks, buses, trailers, or equipment can go a long way to saving you money in 2010 and 2011.
